- United States federal judge. Charles Joseph McNamee (December 5, 1890 – May 2, 1964) was a United States federal judge. McNamee was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He received an LL.B. from Cleveland Law School in 1917. He was in the United States Army from 1917 to 1919. He was in private practice in Cleveland, Ohio from 1921 to 1933. He was a Chief assistant county prosecutor, Cuyahoga County, Ohio from 1933 to 1938. He was a judge on the Common Pleas Court, Cuyahoga County, Ohio from 1939 to 1949.
